Ben Wilcox

Ben Wilcox joined STN as a freshman during his first week at the University of Hartford. Now a junior Deans List student, Ben has been re-elected for a second term to the position of News Director. It is Ben's job to find and assign all of the stories, supervise reporters, and approve their scripts. He also appoints anchors for the live newscast each week. As his love of news and local television held strong he was able to obtain an internship at his local CBS affiliate WPRI-TV in Providence Rhode Island, before arriving in Hartford. In his spare time Ben enjoys the benefits surrounding his lifelong home in Cranston, Rhode Island. On any given day you could find him on the golf course, enjoying a good meal at an area restaurant with friends and family, hanging out with his dogs and cat, and keeping a close eye on the auto industry.

Nick Drago

Nick Drago is a junior from Oakdale, New York on Long Island. He is majoring in Physical Therapy at the University of Hartford and hoping to have a doctorate in six years. His favorite task for STN was covering the American East Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament in Hartford even though he wound up filming 13 games in four days. When he is not filming, watching, announcing, playing, thinking about, or talking about sports he is pretty much just eating and sleeping.
