Since September there have been 24 dumpster fires on the residential side of campus. A public safety officer was surveiling the campus on November 12. At 3:16 am he observed a a resident student lighting a piece of paper on fire and throwing it into the dumpster. The student was arrested by Hartford Police. It is unknown if the student is responsible for any of the past dumpster fires.
